In an effort to undo the 'read only' attribute (right
click folder>properties>general:attribute), I am seeing
a 'greyed out' check mark in the read only box. I then
click on the box, the check mark goes away, I then click
OK (or apply), say 'yes' to apply to all subfolders, and
then watch as the system shows all subfolders/files having
the attributes changed.
I then go back to the same folder, right click >
properties > general:attributes, and see that the 'greyed
out check mark is back again, however, for individual
files within those folders, they are not checked read only.
I am getting "file may be marked as read only" error
messages when I try to edit .tif file properties, and am
wondering if this 'greyed out' check mark in read only box
has any significance and is connected to this error
meassage when I try to edit file properties.
