Read messages disappear from inbox

Hi, since two days all my read mails disappear from my inbox without warning!
I even do not find them in deleted Items, how this can be? For info I'm
running Vista and windows mail version6.0
thx for any reply in advance

View>current view>top and bottom selections only.
