Read Mail

I have the four usual Headers in Windows Mail (Vista).
Folders - Unread - Total - Sync. Settings
Currently the Unread Header shows: Unread 0, Total 161, Sync. Settings is
checked. How can I get to the Total mail of 161 to re-read/review??
 
First - Thank You for your timely response. Sorry, Yes - imap. Also I do
have show all message showing..

Any ideas how to view the Total mail (161) ?? I am reading and deleting
anything new, these however need to be perused before deleting... TY
 
Does "Show all messages" not make them available?

Have you synchronized with the IMAP server recently?

Is it a (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed) account?
 
Hi Again..and TY again for your response!! Yes, I have synchronized - and
the "show all messages" does not make them appear in the inbox. Can only see
the 0 unread and 161 total from Main folder (mail account) (e-mail address removed).
This is how I know they are there. As I believe I stated - I am recieving
any new (unread messages into the 'inbox'. I really do not want to download
aolmail and go thru the service provider as this is a relatively new laptop
and only find aol to be one big spam/cookie/spyware. Plus it will load aol's
computer check up/disc clean/virus protection, etc.. I find it to be
intrusive to my own virus protection program...I just need to find a way to
view the 161 read messages - which, if still showing were not deleted.
