Scandisk from DOS prompt:
Bootup using your "Windows Startup Disk"
Select #4
At the DOS prompt,
type the following line,
and press <enter>.
SCANDISK /ALL /SURFACE
Remove the floppy, and press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot.
Using Scandisk to check your hard disk for errors
You can use Scandisk to check your hard disk for logical and physical
errors. Scandisk can then repair the damaged areas.
Sorry, but I thought everyone in the whole world used Microsoft Windows
Update and Scandisk on a consistent basis...then updated their video drivers
at the manufacture's site?
