Hi, Danny.
I RECENTLY IMPORTED MY OLD OUTLOOK EXPRESS ONTO MY NEW COMPUTER AND I AM
HAVING TROUBLE FINDING re.music.opera

You don't have to shout. Typing in all uppercase is considered shouting on
the Internet. And you've posted your question in the Microsoft Access
database newsgroup (part of Microsoft Office), which isn't appropriate for
asking questions about newsreaders. For best and quickest results, you
should post questions in the newsgroups which pertain to the software you're
having problems with.

That said, right-click on your news server name and select Newsgroups...
from the pop-up menu. In the Newsgroups Subscriptions dialog window, type
music.opera in the "Display newsgroups which contain" text box. If you
don't see rec.music.opera on the "short list" that appears, then press the
"Reset List" button to refresh the list of newsgroups to subscribe to and
when it's finished, type music.opera in the text box again. Ensure that you
spell it correctly. If your newsgroup's name doesn't display, then your
news server doesn't carry that newsgroup, and you'll need to subscribe to
one that does.

HTH.

Danny,

You have posted this message to the wrong newsgroup.
The access in this groups name refers to Microsoft Access, a database
program.

Posing in All-Caps in newsgroups is considered as shouting.
None of us like to be shouted at.
I'm sure, like Manon Lescault, you don't wish to be "solo perduto
abandonado". <g>

I don't know where you are going to find
re.music.opera
but you might have more luck looking for
rec.music.opera
which is alive and quite busy.

Good luck.
