Re-post - Log files in :\Windows\Debug Folder ???

Desperado

Does anybody else have these three .log files ?

(drive):\WINDOWS\Debug\oakley.log 0 bytes

(drive):\WINDOWS\Debug\oakley.log.sav 0 bytes

(drive):\WINDOWS\Debug\PASSWD.LOG 0 bytes

What are they ?

Only one of them can be deleted, and it returns on reboot.

Thanks for any reply

Thanks much for the reply.

I also asked in my post, "what are they" ?

Do you know what they are and what they do ?

Thank you.

Yes, we've all got them. And if you routinely delete files to see if
they'll come back, without knowing what they are (the fact they are zero
bytes notwithstanding) you soon won't have a working system.

Yes, but if I told you I'd have to kill you. 8>.
You can do your own research rather easily:

www.google.com enter 'windows XP oakley.log' hit enter, and read all
about it.
