Re-partitioning C: Drive

M

MacKenrick

My hard drive is partitioned into two drives (C: and D:)
with the OS on C drive. I had a major problem with Win XP
and was going to use my Norton Ghost cloned disks to
reinstall my C: drive. I removed the partition on C: and
repartitioned it. Now it is listed as C: again but does
not show it as being a NTSF formated drive. How do I
formatt it as an NTSF drive again so I can use my Norton
Ghost cloned disks to reinstall everything. Thanks for
the help. Mac

Go to run,type:cmd
At the prompt in the new window type:DiskPart
Then type:list disks,ot list volumes
Get the specifics on what disks it shows, then type:EXIT
Then,either type:FORMAT C: /FS:ntfs or CONVERT
C: /FS:ntfs Format erases,convert doesnt.
