re installing xp

i removed xp from my computer and re installed it. I cannot get the computer to read the installation disc for a wireless network card. Other cds seem to run fine, but now i have no internet access.The add hardware wizard does not find the insxtalled wireless network card

Try opening the "new connection wizard" in internet connections,then set
up the connection.

sounds like your problem is with your CDROM, and not
windows. if windows does not have a useable driver, then
running the network wizard wont fix anything, as it
doesnt know what kind of device it is.

try downloading the necessary driver from a friends house
or something, and then bring it over and install.
