XP will not let me config the network

I just upgraded a win 2000 machine to XP. Now I can not get the
wireless network to setup properly. The wireless says I am
connected to the network, but that silly wizard setup keeps
setting it up with a wep key that it generates. How can I get
to the actuall network details, like I did in win98 and 2000 to
change the enteries to match our wireless network? All I keep
getting is that silly wizard that screws up.

Install xp cd,browse the contents menu, locate "add windows options",
go thru & make sure the network option boxes are checked..For network
details,1st install the boards chipset installation utility from the mfg
(intel,
amd, etc),once done, install the boards internet hardware software from mfg,
once thru,open internet connections,L.click the hardware,properties.

I finally got the network working. Something did not install
correctly when I installed XP from the CD. I rebooted from
the CD and did a repair of the OS and now the network and the
wizards work fine. Hope this helps someone.
