Re-installing third party software

I was having problems with Magellan's BlueNav software uploading maps to my GPS

Megellan's tech support suggested I re-install their software. I first un-installed it throug
add/remove programs which failed at the end

I now cannot re-install the product. When I autorun the cd the dialog asked if I woul
like to install it but when I say yes it just exits with no error and no setup

I tried deleting the folder that was left by the aborted un-install and
searched the registry for 'blue' and deleted all that I found

Still will not install.
