Third party software included

Third party software included.

However, this third party is adaware, spyware and also has viruses.

My question is why would the original author allow the programs to be
bundled with a virus program?

Nemo1.exe for example. Avast went nuts after installing this.

At least I had a ghost image restore of xp.

Hi,

Who said they allowed it? They likely sold or licensed the distribution
rights to the program. The licensee can alter the distribution package
however they see it.

How do you know the original author even knew? It would be very easy to
download say the Adaware installation file and zip it up with
*anything*. And not much harder to slip a virus into it. Might be
worth letting Lavasoftusa.com know what this bundle was and where you
got it - they *might* be able to take action and I'm sure they would
want to
