Re-installing 2000

I had to do a re-install of Windows 2000. When I do a
start, programs none of my programs are there, but when I
go through windows explorer they are in the programs
folder. Also some of the programs don't run. Is there a
re-syn I can do?

This depends whether you have done a repair install or have inadvertaintly
done a new install of win2K
eg When you startup do you get an option to select whch o/s
Or are their two winnt folders? though they wont have identical name.

It was a new install and it wrote over the old install

In that case the apps should run, if they dont you will have to reinstall
them
