Re-install Problem

I bought a full version of vista last month and installed it on my pc. My
basement flooded destroying the computer. Built a new one but ran into some
problems last night and when I went to reinstall it wouldn't let me. What
is up with this?

Then you have a Business edition, perhaps volume license copy? Just
curious.

Your product key is all that matters. The media is the same. What does
CompUSA say about replacement media?

Do you have your key? If not, does CompUSA have a record of it?

I have the key, that is not the problem. It says I have exceeded my install
limit.

Try the phone activation center. Run a command prompt as adminstrator and
type SLUI 4 to trigger the screen.
