Re-install loop XP professional

During re-installation of Microsoft XP Pro, we
reach a point where in UNREGMP2.exe "entry
point not found GetIUMS not be located in the dynamic link
library MSDART.DLL.
All I know to do is reboot. When I do it restarts the
setup program and gets the same error. How can I get out
of this loop and boot from the Hard drive and not restart
setup.

Frank, cant help you, but I came to this message board for
the exact same reason except with XP Pro!

I dont know how it happened but I left it overnight with
the error message displayed. this afternoon I was going
to reboot it again but it had already finished the install
to my surprise.

Maybe XP has some self healing properties???????
