Re-enabling scanner selection wizard

A colleague uses the built-in Windows scanner wizard - she opens My
Computer, right clicks on the scanner and selects 'Scan'.

Previously, she was presented with a set of options for scanning, but she
clicked on the 'remember this setting' tickbox, selected the scanner wizard,
and now the wizard automatically launches. Is there any way to turn off
that pre-selection so she gets that list of options again?

TIA

Yes, Control Panel (Classic View), Click Scanners & Cameras. Right
Click the device, such as Epson Perfection 1670. From the Context
Menu Left Click Properties. When the Details box opens - click on
the "Events" Tab. It's from here you configure or change the actions to
take when the Scanner buttons are pressed.

Thanks for your reply. It's not the actions that the scanner itself takes,
rather the actions that Windows takes. For example, when I put a CD into my
CD drive, I get a window pop-up which asks me whether I want to open the CD
and view contents, play with WMP, play with RealPlayer, and so on. That
same window (with different options, obviously!) used to come up when I
right click on the scanner in My Computer, but it no longer does because the
user selected the 'do not ask me again' tickbox.

It's that window which I want to restore
