Well that's telling you there's recent errors in your system log. I'd have
a look at those and see what they're all about...

If you want some help with the logs, check them against www.eventid.net and
then post back problems here...

I have 4 domain controllers, one domain, all domain controllers are GCs. I
am getting the same two dcdiag errors on 3 of the domain controllers. The
fourth domain controller shows no errors. The domain controller that is
pasing all the test is the FSMO role holder for all roles. Here is the
errors that are showing up in dcdiag

Starting test: frssysvol
There are errors after the SYSVOL has been shared.
The SYSVOL can prevent the AD from starting.
......................... ADCONTROLLER passed test frssysvol

Starting test: systemlog
An Error Event occured. EventID: 0x0000165B
Time Generated: 07/29/2004 12:45:15
Event String: The session setup from the computer BAMA2 failed
An Error Event occured. EventID: 0x0000169E
Time Generated: 07/29/2004 13:00:27
(Event String could not be retrieved)
......................... ADCONTROLLER failed test systemlog

I can connect to \\domain.com\sysvol\domain.com successfully and browse
folders.

Any ideas how to track down what is going on?

TIA,

aaron

Use the calculator that comes with windows to convert the Hex to decimal. I
believe that is 5723 which would normally correlate to netlogon and secure
channel issues. Check out the MS knowledge base for articles that describe
this error. You can use the timestamp to find the event in the System event
log for a better description of the problem.
