Re: Cannot delete a file because there is no enough space ?!?!?

This error message is funny. I know what it means, it usually displays as
"the file is too big to be put in to recycled bin" and asks if I want to
delete this file without putting in to the bin.

However, today, when I try to delete a big file, I get this message:

Cannot delete video: There is no enough free disk space. Delete one or more
files to free disk space, and then try again.

So funny :p How can I free disk space if I can't delete a file from the disk
:D

Hold down the space key and click on delete.

The system will then simply delete the file rather than trying to
place it in the recycle bin first.

What is happening is when you are trying to delete the file XP is
trying first to put it in the recycle bin and your system does not
have enough disk space let alone recycle bin space for the file.

Les meant to hold to say, hold down the SHIFT key when you
want to delete something.

The prompt will ask if you'd like to delete it rather than move it
to the recycle bin. :) Also, you can open up a DOS prompt and
use DEL or ERASE there, but you'll have to type in the full path
name and file name to delete a file in that manner.
