I have XP and Office 2003. My hard drive may be getting
sick. What about re-activation after changing it?

You don't need to re-activate if you save your current
activation. The file is called wpa.dbl in
\Windows\System32. Copy the file to a floppy, reload XP
and copy the file back. This is not a way to rip-off XP,
its a legal way to reload your system.
