RDT through Linksys wrt54g router

I cannot seem to get Remote desktop to work at home, I
have a peer to peer network at work with a DSL line
routed through a Linksys wrt54g (wireless 54g) and The
same router at home with a cable modem. XP pro running on
both machines.

I can't make the connection, how do I route Remote
desktop with this configuration?

So your trying to use Remote Desktop for work to home and the home PC is behind a WRT54G router,
correct? In that case you need to forward TCP Port 3389 on the home router to the private LAN IP of
the desktop. Look at page 57/58 of the users manual. You call using the public IP of the router, ie.
the IP assigned to you by your home ISP.
