Overview:
Windows XP Professional SP1
Sprint FastConnect DSL
Dynamic IP (and No-IP.com)
ZyXel 645M DSL Modem
D-Link DI-604 Router
ZyXel Side:
I can hit the ZyXel when using the no-ip.com address from outside the LAN.
On port 80 I see the modem's web interface and on port 23 I can telnet to
it.
I have set up the SUA Server (NAT) to route port 3389 to the LAN address of
the WinXP machine. Ive also tried telling the ZyXEL to route port 3389 to
the internal IP of the router, and then telling the router to route port
3389 to the internal IP of the WinXP machine.
D-Link Side:
Cannot hit the D-Link from outside the LAN (and I shouldnt be able to,
right?).
I set up a virtual server on the D-Link for port 3389 and told it to point
at the WinXP machine.
What am I missing? The ZyXel should route port 3389 and the D-Link should
do the same, no?
Thanks in advance.
