RDP Connection Files - Password

Hi,

We created a Terminal Server and want our users to access
it through a shortcut.

I've created a .RDP file with all the settings, including
username, domain and password. Naturally this works
properly on my workstation where I've created it. However
when I test it on another workstation it pops up with a
password prompt when connecting to the Terminal Server.

I dont want that. I want a shortcut to the Terminal
Server that automates the login to the Terminal Servers.
Apparantly the password is saved in an encrypted way
depending on the client on which it was created.

How can I make a general shortcut to this server,
undependent of an user.

Please advice.

Sorry, for security reasons, the password is encrypted in such a way that
only the same user, on the same machine, can decrypt it.

You can have the user add their password to the shortcut, then save it.

Alternatively, if all users are using the same account and password, you can
set the username and password in Terminal Services Configuration admin tool.

Be sure to uncheck "Always prompt for password", no matter which way you do
it.
