RD printing

Hey folks,

I have a user that is running XP Pro on a P2P netwrok in the office and XP
Pro at home. The office is being accessed by VPN and Remote Desktop. When the
user is at home and attempts to print to the home AIO printer, the printer
does not appear in the selection list.

Yes, the printer option is enable within the Remote Desktop configuration
and since the printer uses a USB001 port I have applied MS KB registry change
to redirect all USB output but still no printout.

I have run into this issue before with an HP laser printer and needed to use
an older print driver to address the problem but I've not been able to
identify an alternate dirver for this customers Dell AIO 962. I have checked
Dell's newsgroup and apparently many users are having the same problem and
indicating that Dell support doesn't know what Remote Desktop is so their no
help.

Does any one know what driver can be used for this Dell AIO printer or can
someone offer up an HP printer that will work.

Thanks in advance.

Robert,

Thanks for the input on this issue. I'll be able to put the info to the test
this coming week. I'll advise.

Thanks again,
Don
