RC1 Emails ??

Am I one of the last to get an RC1 notification ?
I have already downloaded RC1 and installed it seeing I had my key from the
beta2 cpp release.
Seeing I'm a registered Cpp participant I should by now have had the Email
with the download link
Is it still the plan to send them to everyone ?
or is it yet again just a select group of people ?

How can you see that you actually are a CPP participant. I have not received

They just started sending them out yesterday.

Microsoft may have been stagering the mailings as well on purpose as a way
to reduce the lag on the download servers. People need to learn to be a
little more patient. Me, I won't get irritated until rc1 has been available
for 2 weeks and I haven't received my email yet. Mine was the you first
generation, not the Me first.

If in that e-mail will be some reminder for CD-KEY?
I lost my mail with key, and only two of thing can now help me, if in e-mail
will not be sended key:
1. Install RC at Vista that will detect key
2. Found some software that will find key in installed Vista

I don't know why my e-mail whas deleted, if nothing can help, then i will
re-register, when CPP will reopen.

If you signed up for the Beta 2 CPP, then you will get an email inviting you
to the RC1 with your original key included as a courtesy to you incase you
have misplaced your original key.

The discs for Beta2 took ages to arrive I had given up hope and downloaded &
installed. I still haven't received an e-mail for RC1 but downloaded from the
link on a forum installed using the key I got with my initial download (not
the DVD delivery) & activated without problem. I would have downloaded first
time only Microsoft had the buy DVD link as the preferred way. My key worked
without any e-mail advice.

The email should include your original key, OR you could use a program like
Magic Jellybean to find your current key. (MJB worked in 5384 for me)

Also, everyone who hasent gotten their email yet, dont forget to keep an eye

certainly does work in 5384 x86. The key is reached with Software/Secrets.

e-mail arrived today from Microsoft with RC1 invite although I already have
it installed with a different key than they show but this is because I ended
up downloading Beta2 with another key. I am not going to upset my install by
changing the key as the one I have is activated and has been from the very
first install.

Emails are being sent out in batches I believe. I received mine 2 days ago.
