rc 5744 instation difficulties

My downloaded vista rc2 5744 file cannot be installed with the file being a
DLM not an ISO file. I have tried suggested remedys with no luck. Please help
with suggestions.

If DLM is an extension indicating a portion of a Down Load
Manager, then I would presume you don't have all the file.

Did you use the Microsoft Down Load Manager?

Well, if the size of the file is correct and the hash values check, you
can just rename the file to a .iso extension.

If not, you will need to download again. However RC2 is no longer
officially available.
