RC-1 on DVD?

I ordered Beta 2 on DVD several months ago. They told me in addition to that,
I would receive a free copy of RC-1. I was curious -- did Microsoft already
mail those out? I never received anything. I'm just wondering if I'll get a
copy or if I'll have to find a way to download it.

I had a reply from MS a couple of weeks ago advising that RC1 on DVD would
commence shipping on week beginning 25th September, so it could be on its way.

But now that is outdated. Why install it when you can download RC2?

It's 2.49 GB, for one thing. And it is best to burn it to a DVD and most
people don't have DVD burners either. Otherwise, I agree with you.

As for the RC-1. I got the Beta2 in June and just received RC-1 on
Thursday. On Wed, I ordered RC-1 thinking I must have been mistaken about
automatically receiving RC-1. LOL. Anyhow, I am hoping they will ship me
RC-2, but I doubt that. I will pass it on to someone.
