RAS server DNS registration

I have a W2K3 server DC running as a VPN server.
Everything appears to be working just fine as client
connections are working without issue.

However I have noticed that the first IP Address from the
the range I allocated gets registered in DNS as the server
name thus resulting in the server being registered twice.
This I don't believe to be desirable as this is also a DC.

Can anybody shed any light on this for me?
