Remote RAS Client DNS Registration

I have 2 XP Pro clients at a remote location. They VPN (pptp) into our
domain with no problems, except in our DNS servers they are registering
their local lan ip from their remote lan segment & their IP assigned to
them on behalf of our W2K RAS server. So i have 2 A records for the
same host each with a different ip. This behavior just started
happening and I can't figure out what changed? Why are they registering
their virtual ppp connection ip and their local net adapter ip in DNS?
Any help would be appreciated.
