Hi all,

I'm trying to connect with a modem to a RAS service on a Windows 2003 server. As it did not work, I tried with Windows XP Pro and was successful.

Here's the trace of the failed connection:

It looks like Windows 2003 insists on a compression the Linux system does not offer.
Is this right or is it something else?

How can I prevent Windows from insisting on this compression? Disabling compression at all would be a solution, but I did not find any hints about how to do so.

Any help is appreciated!

Best regards,
Paul
