Random Restarts/Download Crashes

Hello everyone,

Well first of all I have upgraded my OS from Windows ME to Xp Pro, which
fixed many problems my computer was having before. But its had some new
interesting problems lately. For instance sometimes when I try to download
things, the save box and normal download window comes up, but it the Download
Stops Responding almost instantly. Also, when I'm just doing anything, my
computer just randomly reboots, there are no messages or anything. It just
reboots and starts like it would if I normally turn the computer on.. soo if
any of you could help it would be appreciated.

Do you have Norton Antivirus that has out of date subscriptions and sp2?

I had the same problem and XP reported it was a symantec driver causing the
proble so i uninstalled it and have had no problems since.
