RAMPANT SCROLLING

I am using XP Pro. Several times while using Outlook Express and Word, I
click to scroll and it becomes an uncontrollable scrolling that I can not
stop without rebooting.

Any help as to the cause will be gratefully received.

I had same problem last night.
Logged off and logged on and this fixed it.
