I was told by AMD to buy better, Name brand RAM so i can run my processor with a 266 FSB. Is this true and what are some name brands of RAM?
 
Hi!

If you use 3d part memory some of them isnt working so
fine that they should, but it doesnt have to be the memory
it could be that you have to upgrade the BIOS and it could
be the mb or the cpu it could be many things. Some good
branded memorys is Apacer, Kingston, Viking and so on.

Before buying any RAM chips, check your motherboard manual first to find out
what type of chips will work. If you don't have a motherboard manual, they
can usually be downloaded from the website of the motherboard manufacturer.

My favorite brand is Crucial.
