raid config problem

jon

When I try to install any program I get a popup that
says"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk
into drive \device\harddisk1\dr3". Sometimes repeatedly
pressing the cancel button will let the program
work, sometimes it wont. also when trying to install
drivers from ati or nvidia I get a popup that is similar
but after pressing cancel many times I get another popup
that says there is not enough room and I need to clean up
disk space, usually close to the file size i'm trying to
install, even though there is at least 20GB free space.
Thanks in advance for your help.

In researching this error, I have come across a cause related to a zip drive connected to the parallel port.

If you have any external drives connected, disconnect the zip drive / usb drive and reboot.

The problem should go away.
