Radeon x850pro

Ok so this seems to be an ongoing problem. I have an ati Radeon 850 pro and
yep you guessed it error code 43. I have tried everything that I can think
of to fix this problem. I have called Microsoft (that was a joke) and
submited a ticket to ati. I have been reading these discussions for the past
2 days and have tried everything that has been mention here. I have upgraded
my chipsets, I have tried every driver for my graphics card that is known to
man, I have installed and reinstalled Vista several times, I have tried every
version of the catalyst software(yes even the latest 7.2)and still have the
same problem. Please somone help!!!

Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
Ati Radeon 850 pro 256mb agp
AMD Athlon xp 3200
VIA chipset

Hi,

Contacting ATI was the best thing you could do, as apparently this is a
known issue with the chipset in that series:

Normally I would agree with you. Most of the time that is my suggestion to
most of my friends that are having problems with thier computers. However I
seem to only be getting nowhere with ati support. They have responded twice
telling me to update my chipset and search there knowledge base to find more
info on this problem. This has only added to the frustration as I told them
I had already updated my chipset as well as did alot of searching their
knowledge base as well as several others. I feel like I am going round and
round here!!! This is so frustrating!!! Still am open to any Ideas anyone out
there has. Please feel free to pass on any info you may have on this
problem. Thanks.
