I'm having video issues since i installed vista, i downloaded the Vista Beta
driver from ATI and they give me code 43 error. Right now i'm using XP wich
work fine but no aero, been searching forums, newsgroup etc but can't find
an answer, even the WDDM default drivers from vista didnt worked with my
card.

The Ati catalyst control center dont even open, and yes, my video card is on
the supported list for aero. Pls someone know anything about this. I saw in
some forum that is the AGP to PCI brigde from the mother board, i installed
the drivers using the XP SP2 compatibility and nothing, if i boot on safe
mod the os recognize it. That's all i know.... PLS i want to see AERO !!!!!!

System Spec:

OS: Windows Vista x86
CPU: AMD 64 +4200 x2
RAM: 3gb
MotherBoard: Giga-Byte k8nsnxp-939
Video Card: Giga-Byte ATI Radeon 9550 256mb

Have you got the correct drivers for your motherboard chipset? I believe
you will need the Vista nForce 3 chipset drivers.

Catalyst may not be fully implemented in the beta drivers for Vista. Use
the beta drivers not the XP ones.

Yes, the chipset of my motherboard is Nforce 3 250, but Nvidia with all it
wisdom only release drivers for network and audio. That's all the beta
drivers for chipset.

I can't use Beta drivers, because when i installs it, i got the code 43
error, those drivers arent working for me, that's why i'm using XP ones.

I saw post of other ppl with the same video card and working fine, doing
some kind of process like, unistalling and deleting all ati drivers > boot
into safe mode > install beta drivers using xp sp2 compatibility and reboot,
etc ! and seems to work (i did this).

I'm really desperate !!!! thx
