Hi,
I have a Sapphire Radeon 9000 (64MB) installed in an system running XP
SP1. The latest ATI "Powered By" drivers (Catalyst 3.5) are installed
and working. However, when I exit a DOS executable that uses VESA I
end up with a corrupt desktop. Further, VBETEST tells me that I have
VESA 2.0 support, but only up to 640x480x32.
I've heard some folks say that the latest drivers fixed this problem,
but they don't on my system. Does anyone know if ATI is aware of the
issue? They claim VESA SuperVGA BIOS compatiblity for the Radeon
9000, but I'm not seeing it.
TIA!
