radeaon 7500 in xp

recently ugraded my pc from win 98 se to win xp home, all
installed well but the system restarts after just a few
seconds once in windows? however its fine if i take out
the radeon 7500 128mb agp card and use the on board
graphics adapter-any body please help cos its driving my
mad. all the drivers are up to date and ive serached the
ati web site but no solution

the win98 graphics drivers are trying to load in xp...that
will crash it. download the latest catalyst xp driver
from www.ati.com.

next, put the card back in and boot in SAFE mode. go into
device manager, and DELETE ALL GRAPHICS CARDS. next
reboot and run the catalyst file you downloaded.

For WinXP, you have to install the ATI Radeon WinXP Drivers. Go here for
some help www.rage3d.com
Also, disable on board graphics in Bios. Remove all the old drivers.
