Quoting text with Foxmail

Hi. I use Foxmail for e-mail management, and suffer its lackings in
composing and quoting text. I saw here some kind of utility which
happened to add quote marks to the text I was replying to. I can't
remember how this program was called and can't even find it on my
collection od CDs.

Anyone knows how was called this utility and how can I download it?

TIA

Don't know off hand what the utility is but have you tried the
following? It will automatically add the original message in quotes for
a reply or forward.

Try 'Tools' --> 'Templates' --> Select 'New' then 'Text' template.

I set up a text template for each of the three categories (New, Reply
and Forward).

Below is an example of my Reply Template. Note the placement of both
"%QUOTES" and "%CURSOR". The first will place the original message in
quotes, the second will place your cursor on the composition page so you
won't have to tab around when you start your reply.

[begin example]
Hello

Your original message was:

%QUOTES

My reply is below:

%CURSOR
[/example]

Lastly, safe your new template which will add it to the templates list.
Then right click on your new template name from that list and choose
"Set Default".

Hope this helps.

Mmmm. I tried it, and the problem is that Foxmail don't adds the
quote marks correctly. I only adds them when it find a CR character. I
can see the quoted text marked in the color I choosed for quotes, but
the person who receives my mail whith these quoted text only will see
as quoted the lines after a CR character.

Yeah, that's why I added the "Below is your original message" and "My
reply is below" to the template in order to 'box in' and show the
recipient where the quote starts and ends. I had to experiment a bit
before I got the look that I was after. May not work for you though ;)

If I think of anything else I'll get back with you.
