While I am like everyone else in favour of people that offer advice ion these
forums, I myself offer advice when time permits, It would appear that quintin
has 2 pre prepared replies i.e. repair install and device manager, which he
applies to all problems, I have seen a number posts from him that would cause
the ops to do a lot of work when a quick fix is all that is required, keep
learning quintin but assist when an answer is tested and tried by yourself

Quintin is simply not getting the message. As a CDO poster, he may not even
read replies to his posts (although it is interesting that he has dropped
"MVP wannabe" from his signature recently). If one ignores his benign
intent, he is a force for evil, not to mention that his archived posts live
on, and more people might fall for the nonsense in the future. He posts the
same drivel at many other forums/newsgroups. Is there no way to have him
expelled from this newsgroup? After all, 90% of his posts miss the target.
He appears to be completely impervious to feedback, yet is quite prolific.
If he were trying hard and learning along the way, that would be one thing,
but he mainly pastes in the same two answers! Can the moderators do nothing?

Yeah, the MS server crew should set up a filter so this Quintin Joker's
posts don't get propagated to any other server on the USENET or USENET
archive, especially since he is a CDO poster that obviously has no idea
about what advice he gives out or that it is archived though forever on
Google.
