quicktime

I'm trying to download Myst but get error msg saying there's a proplem w/
quicktime. I've downloaded 7.1.3 but the game still won't run. Any
suggestions?
 
The version of QT for Myst may be a lot older eg v2 or 3!!! I do not think
those versions will work on vista :(
