Good day. Why does MS allow Quicktime to install itself
into my Startup? I don't want it there. When I tell
AntiSpyware to block it, it just keeps allowing the app
to install. Why?!?

Why use this app if it is not giving me control of what I
am doing with my machine???!!!

Microsoft Antispyware is designed to remove spyware--applications which have
specific behaviors:

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/isv/analysis.mspx

If you believe that Quicktime fits the behaviors Microsoft targets, feel
free to report it using the Suspected Spyware report.

Microsoft Antispyware is not a generalized uninstaller or blocker of any
application that you choose. Add or remove software may be used in that
situation.

Don't blame MS for not reading/acting during QuickTime installation.
Right-click on QuickTime icon and .... (just read).
For ignorants the only real control is the power button ;-)
