How to block Quicktime

T

Terry Dactil

Everytime a song is played by Quicktime on my computer, that I download from
the Internet, MS Antispyware allows Quicktime to be added to my startup
programs. I have to go in and delete it from my startup programs. How do I
tell MS Antispyware to not allow QT to be put in my startup programs?

Also, in my folder options, MP3s are designated to play with Windows Media
Player, yet they are being played with QT, when downloaded from the
Internet. Short of deleting this damn program, how do I stop this? Thanks a
lot.

You need to tell QT that, not MS Antispyware. You can do it by opening QT
and looking in the drop down menue preferences. Some media player needs to
be the default. Personally, I let WinAmp have that job.

MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY!!!!!!!!

This program is just as bad as spyware - doing what IT pleases.
I wish people would stop using it so I can delete it.
