Quicktime Quality in PPT on Mac

I can put my quicktime movie which is 640 x 480 animation compression.
However, It looks like crud! all bitmappy and hideous.
When I play the QT file outside of PPT it looks Flawless! WHY? What is
happening to my .mov file inside PPT?

your lucky it even plays...mov /quicktime is an apple format
apple = microsoft competitor
Powerpoint only supports version 1 and 2 of the quicktime format
If it is anything else you may have a codec such as the "quicktime
alternative" installed, which may be the problem
I would suggest converting your mov to mpg if it is really important...oh
and not mp4 which Quicktime allows..
