Quicktime (need to remove from registry or whatever)

I have been trying to remove Quicktime but it will not be removed from the
Add/Remove program through the Control Panel even though the program shows
up. It keeps giving me an error.
How do I make sure it is completely removed from my computer?

The easiest way would be to reinstall the same version in the same location-
then Add/"Remove" the program! Or you could spend a lot more time searching
the registry and or downloading a 3rd party utility to do it for you.
