"add or remove programs" trouble

Since I got my ipod, i have been having to install and uninstall ipod,
itunes, and quicktime software multiple times. I have obviously done
something wrong because now when I try remove them from "add or remove
programs" it won't let me. Thanks for any help.

Hi, any error codes, they can direct you to problem source quickly.

Unfortunately, when I try to remove there are no codes. The screen simply
flashes for a split second and the program is still there.

i am having a similar problem...when i try to open itunes, it comes up with
an error and wont open. i sent the error report to microsoft and it comes
back with a quicktime error. so the solution was to uninstall quicktime and
repair itunes which would reinstall quicktime and should fix it. but i cant
remove quicktime. its still in the add/remove programs list and when i click
change/remove it has the error "the following file does not exist or is not a
valid uninstallation log file. C:\WINDOWS\system32\QuickTime\Uinstall.log"
not really sure what i'm supposed to do about that or how i remove it.
