quicklaunch desktop icon

does anyone know how to get the desktop icon into the quicklaunch toolbar? i
used to have it but its gone for some reason and i have no clue how to get it
back on there! it sucks having to right click and go to "show desktop"... i
want my icon back! can someone please shed some light on this for me? thanks

1. Open Notepad,
2. Copy/Paste following lines in it :

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

3. Click File, Save as..
4. Copy/Paste the following line in File name box :
%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf
5. Click OK

Ayush told you how to do what you asked, but I just wanted to add that you
can do the same thing without the shortcut icon by using a keyboard
shortcut: the combination of the Windows key + D or the Windows key + M.
