Quick Launch Toolbar Hides Itself

Hello, today when I booted my computer the Quick Launch toolbar was
hidden. So I made it visible, but when I re-booted my computer, it was
hidden again. Now it never starts visible.

Has anyone run into this before?

Without knowing what you have done to cause this, set it the way you want
then run:

Save Setting on Exit - Line 54 (right hand side)

Unfortunately, I have tried this twice now and the Quick Launch bar is
still being set not to display upon boot. I am now searching for
registry entries that have to do with the Quick Launch but I've turned
up nothing.

Interestingly, it seems that whenever I try ending and restarting
explorer.exe the Quick Launch bar is missing once again. So apparently
explorer.exe is not loading my saved settings for toolbars.
Additionally, the Windows Media toolbar is also disabled.

This could very well be your culprit.
