I am having a problem with the Start Button and Quick Launch Bar at the
bottom of my desktop. When I move the mouse cursor down to it I get a
perpetual hourglass. I can access programs through the My Computer icon or
using CTRL_ALT_DEL for run and shutdown. I have removed all programs in
startup with the exception of stsystra, ashDisp (Avast antivirus), zlclient
(Zone Alarm firewall) and cftmon. Two other programs reinsert themselves in
the startup even though I remove them, NvCpl (Nvidia graphics) and sprtcmd
( Dell support). The Restore on my system won't work. The only process
running other than Idle is TFService.exe which I don't recognise. Can you
help me find out what is blocking the use of my taskbar?

Try a web search with TFService.exe as the search term. I think you'll
find your answer.
