To be very frank, you can look in the Help and Support Center for
complete instructions, or you can STFW, which means 'search
the...fabulous...web'. That's what I did, and in no time at all I found
you an illustrated tutorial:
1. Right-click on an empty area of the Taskbar and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar"
option.
2. Notice handlers on both side of Quick Launch toolbar. Hold down the right
side handler and increase the size of your Quick Launch toolbar.
3. If you want any of your desktop icon in Quick Launch, just drag the icon
and drop it on an empty area of your quick lunch. It will automatically
copied.
4. If you want any of your program from Start Menu, then simple drag and
drop them too but holding down the Ctrl Key. Otherwise the program will move
in Quick Launch instead of Copy.
To delete any program shortcut from Quick Launch, simply right-click on the
icon and click Delete.
