How do I switch the standby stage to "Suspend to RAM"?
This is what I asked not long ago

"Does the computer heat up on standby? Because when i put
the computer on standby the cooling fan doesnt turn off
and its too loud. Anyone have any suggestions?"

And the answer I got was this

"There are different stages of standby. If you
use "Suspend to RAM", the computer is essentially off.
There is only a small trickle current keeping the RAM
alive. Not much heat, if any, is generated."

Does anybody know how to turn on Suspend to RAM standby
mode?

This is a function of your BIOS. Look under Power Management Options. There
are usually TWO options S1 & S3. S1 will turn computer off but leave fans
running, S3 will also turn off the fans.
