Actually,
I feel this topic IS important to programming, and here's why:
When we use the restroom, we are --alone-- for those brief moments. And,
for some reason, we automatically recall the most fundamental things that we
must do for today. And we also formulate solutions to these
issues/problems, within these brief moments.
How does this relate to programming?
It is easy to become bogged down with details that seem neccessary at the
time, but when we use the restroom, we notice that the bottom lines (the
fundamentals) are what remain, and we can forget the fat that has been
trimmed of during these brief moments. when we return to our work station
or office, the details that once seemed important, no longer remain, and we
can continue to drink our water so we will be forced to get up again and
take a restroom break in about another hour.
There is a point to all this.
There has to be breaks.
